BBCode Parsing Errors

So I made two edits in two templates (MEMBERINFO and memberinfo_block_aboutme) and all of the sudden I'm getting some odd BBCode parsing behavior with the News module on my front page.

The BBCode just isn't parsing and I've gone through the settings for module a billion times and nothing is getting the news feed module to parse BBCode properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trouble with getting thumbshots to show up in a vBa CMPS Module

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the Links Directory section, or here, so I will link my question from the other forum.

In a nutshell I have a CMPS module on the front page of my site that displays 5 random site links. It USED to display thumbshots as part of the links. Now with the changes to thumbshots and the links directory code, I can no longer get thumbshots to display in the module.

Note - links directory works fine. Thumbshots IN the links directory work fine. The links MODULE works fine. Everything works fine exception getting the thumbshots to appear in the module.

And now for something completely different...

On my site www.bonsainut.com I use a custom vBadvanced front page with custom modules, as well as a vBa Links Directory page that uses thumbshots.

I know thumbshots has changed, and vBa Links has updated their code, and I have updated the vBa Links code on my site and now everything works fine on the Links page but NOT on the custom links module on the front page of the site.

In other words - thumbshots show up just fine in the links directory, but the vBa front page module (which pulls content directly from the links directory) is only displaying a blank "thumbshots coming soon" image. It was working fine before thumbshots changed their code...

Any help? Here is the code for the front page module that I am struggling with:

How to Change Module Colors

Expanded Display of all Links folders

Im having a limited number of links under 3-4 catagories, all admin listed.

My aim was to have the whole list expanded as by default and layout look just like the newest links and hot links gets displayed rather than a folder/catagory style.

Is there a setting somewhere in the page code or a template that could be modified to set the page up this way?

Inline attachements not showing

Hi!

I have permissions for guest:
View thumbnials - YES
Download attachements - NO

So in threads they can see inline attachements but can't enlarge them. BUT in advanced they can see only LINKS to attachements not inline images.... how to fix?

Blank Page as a template, but how?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to set up a blank page that functions as a template.
What i mean by this is, stuff like the vbulletin conditions and vbadvanced modules
should still work on it.

Whenever i add a new page in vbadvanced, i get a blank page but with the header, navbar, footer of my forum theme, but i don't want that. I just want a blank page that i can costumize.

Is there a way to do this?

Though I do have another issue - I can't for the life of me find my API key on thumbshots.com. The only thing I can find which resembles one is a "URL encryption key" which doesn't sound like it's the right thing. Is that what I need?

Adding Video to a module

Recently I've had some issues with the link submission form. It was working a few weeks ago but now it's having issues. When you go to submit a new link and enter the URL and the category, it shows that it's "verifying link" then it just reloads the same page rather than advancing.

Please help me figure this issue out.

The forum link on my mobile site, goes to forum activity. This makes it very difficult for my members to go to the forum sections to create new threads or look for older threads in a certain section.

It seems like this could be related to the same fact that from the main site the HOME icon tries to go to a http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/index.php which I'm not sure exists, so it gets rerouted to the activity.

When I click the forum link at the top of the mobile site it tries to go to the same place
http://m.twowheelmichigan.com/index.php

Which redirects to activity.

My forum listing is

I'm very green at this stuff and inherited these issues from the site's previous owner. I am also not a website guy in any sense.

I'm not even 100% sure this is caused by my vbadvanced plugin.

Hello!

in my vB 4.2 posts that not supposed to show (users have no permission to access that forum) are visible.

In News module:
Apply Forum Permissions -> Yes

In Forum Permissions:
Can View Forum -> Yes

Can View Thread Content -> No

Can View Others' Threads -> Yes

That allow guests to see forum and thread titles but NO thread content. When I turn
Can View Forum -> No

Advanced work OK. I think you need to change Permissions from "Can View Forum" to "Can View Thread Content" to be it more effective.

Navbar arrows missing

Just upgraded to vB 4.2.1 from 4.2.0 and the little dropdown arrows are now missing from the navbar when viewing my vBadvanced homepage. (see attached)

The arrows show up fine on my vB forum homepage.

I am getting this error message and I know what you are going to say, yes I did set the forum path in the cmps_index.php I couldn't find a specific config file other than the root vbulletin one. What am I missing? I'm not ready to share the test forum link in public so I will have to hope its a common enough probem. Thanks
