What version of vBulletin do you use (Mar. 2010)?

I figured it was time for a new poll since vB 4.x.x has been introduced. ;)

... and this one is multi-choice because I know there are a lot of you guys/gals out there who are currently running both vB 4.x.x & vB 3.8.x on different sites.

dazraf 03-27-2010 12:48 AM

I think everybody will move to vB 4 as soon as becomes stable,

crazyvin 03-30-2010 12:44 AM

I will never go to vb4

JOmar 03-31-2010 08:20 PM

my version vb4

g0dfather 04-08-2010 01:57 AM

I have VB 4 but was disappointed so went back to 3.8.

I will probably wait till 4.1 or 4.2 till I upgrade again.

Myster Dude 04-13-2010 03:20 PM

I own a publishing suit vb 4.+, although my hosting provider has problems picking it up so I have to downgrade temporary to 3.8.5

r_hippy 04-24-2010 07:33 PM

vb4 ATM ..I was not happy with it when it first came out so I stayed with 3.84
till 4.01 and has only gotten' better.

dinarmet 05-04-2010 01:09 AM

I am using 4.0.2 and I like the new content system but it lacks some things the vBadvanced excels in.

makki55 05-11-2010 12:50 AM

my version vb4

genkds 05-14-2010 10:25 PM

i use vb 3.8.3! long live 3.8.x

Almal 05-23-2010 07:53 PM

i use vbulletin 3.8.4 :D!

Zachariah 05-29-2010 09:58 AM

3.8x live
4.0x dev

lucamanto 05-29-2010 02:19 PM

I love 3.8.x , I tried upgrading to 4.0.1 but it was slower

deejayh 06-07-2010 06:23 PM

Same here - sticking with 3.8 +

paintballer.ie 06-08-2010 05:23 AM

Sticking with 3.8 for another few months sill I feel that 4.0 is more stable and some better styles are bought.

htscpl 07-03-2010 06:52 AM

VB 3.8.4 This version works great for me, I will upgrade to 3.8.5 but not seeing a lot of advantage in going to 4.x

Maybe when there are more imports of mods, maybe not.

MidGart 08-10-2010 07:29 AM

Why not Vb 4?!

Alfa1 08-17-2010 07:38 PM

Im sticking to vb 3.8 for the time being because vb4 has 1.600 bugs and will keep being rewritten many times. It offers little more than vb3.8.

miketrin 08-30-2010 04:25 PM

i would agree with alfa1, 4.x is horrible

HenrikHansen 08-31-2010 05:00 AM

Plan to upgrade to 3.8.6 soon

TheArchitect 09-11-2010 04:34 PM

I love the upgrades to vB with the release of vB4. moving to a CSS layout, stylevars, etc. relearning the template system is kind of annoying, but worth the effort.

Their CMS is good, and quite versatile if you know what you are doing, but does not have the 'out-of-the-box' widgets and such yet, nor the troubleshooting posts, to make people feel comfortable using it.

Wickidnezz 09-12-2010 07:05 PM

i have vb4.0.6 and i like it alot ive only had 1 slight problem when i was setting it up which was i had to enable the ioncube script with my host before it would allow me to install my vb4.0.6 other then that theres ive had no issues :)

Nothing from vBulletin is encrypted; what was the ioncube requirement for?

Wickidnezz 09-13-2010 07:39 PM

not sure my host just required me to enable it

TechEnix 09-21-2010 09:20 AM

well as 3.8.x is coming to the end of the line, i have moved onto VB4. Not happy though

korifuenc7933 09-21-2010 02:47 PM

I use for a long period Version 3.7.x. But I'm not sure in 4 version. What could you advice about it?

Menato 09-21-2010 04:23 PM

I am a template edit junkie. I have a few vb sites all 3.8 series.
Took me long enough to learn the 3.0 series...4.0 is coded completely different & most of my favorite addons wont work with it.
I tested 4.0 for a few days & left it sit..I am sticking with 3.8 series.

aussiefooty 01-30-2011 10:49 PM

Am currently using version 4.08 and am loving it.

Am looking at using the free portal package from here for my homepage.

Him 03-10-2011 03:37 PM

vB4 sucks too bad for me to use it. Sticking with 3 or will switch platforms all together

smaragdov 04-22-2011 09:59 PM

Testing vBulletin 4.0.2 @ http://www.motoxtreme.info/vbforum4 .
Trying hard to like vB4 but it looks odd when browsing site wt Android device.

www.islamicforumpk.com

ouch 07-25-2011 04:58 PM

Im using 4.1.4 patch 2 , im praying the cmps issue's are sorted soon. But for those of you on lower levels i found i could go as high as 4.1.3 and disable drag and drop in cmps and all works fine.

Tyga 08-03-2011 05:17 PM

I use 4.X.X

rickito 08-26-2011 08:34 PM
