My problem was the installer. Once I made that change to the installer to include the hidden form field, the upgrade to 2.2.0 went fine. (I was previously running vB 3.5.4 and CMPS 2.1.0.)

I actually used the fix that Zachariah posted in the same thread where you posted, and it seemed to work. That's probably the better route to take, since it doesn't require editing any vBulletin...

I just viewed your site. You still have relative paths to the gradients. You need absolute paths.
You have:
