I've never really understood why anyone would want a shoutbox on their CMPS.
Shoutbox is useful on a forum for folks that like them, but how many members sit on the CMPS making shouts !?

SQL Syntax errors are almost always related to modified code. To troubleshoot this, the first thing you need to do is remove / disable any hacks or plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
