    Default BBcode in modules

    I'm trying to create a bbcode module to list rules for my forum. Previously, I had to use html in a template.

    I created an updated Rules page as a post in my forum. I then copied/pasted this code into the bbcode module.

    All works fine w/ exception of 2 bbcode tags. It seems the "quote" and "html" bbcode tags aren't working.

    The reason I prefer to use these 2 tags in my rules page is because I'm explaining how to quote other members.

    Here is the link to my old rules page. Because it is 100% html, I had to use a screen shot and link images for the quoting area.

    Here is the link to the post that I'm trying to copy from. As you can see, the bbcode for "quote" and "html" display fine. This is what I need it to do in the Rules Page.

    This is the link to the bbcode module that is not displaying the code at all, despite it being there.

    How can I do this?

    *FYI: I'm using vba 2.1 and vb 3.5.4.

    Try looking in your vba_cmps_admin.php file for this code:
    PHP Code:
        if ($module['inctype'] == 'bb_code')
        {
            include_once(
    './includes/class_bbcode.php');

    $bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletinfetch_tag_list());
    Replace with this:
    PHP Code:
        if ($module['inctype'] == 'bb_code')
        {

    $gettemp $db->query_read("SELECT * FROM " TABLE_PREFIX "template WHERE title IN('bbcode_code', 'bbcode_html', 'bbcode_php', 'bbcode_quote') AND styleid = '-1'");
            while (
    $temp $db->fetch_array($gettemp))
            {

    $vbulletin->templatecache["$temp[title]"] = $temp['template'];
            }

            include_once(
    './includes/class_bbcode.php');

    $bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletinfetch_tag_list());
    And that should take care of the problem the next time you save the module.
