    Default Only been working on this all day...

    Ha!

    Okay so I've done all the reading on customizing a different navbar for the index page as opposed to the forums page and I've figured all that out and that's all great. Just one problem. How in the world do I center it? This is what I have now for coding for the navbar on the index page:
    Code:
    <div class="hovermenu">
    <ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.cmas-md.org">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="contacts-frag.htm">Contacts</a></li>
    <li><a href="forums/">Forum</a></li>
    <li><a href="gallery-frag.php">Tank Tour pics</a></li>
    <li><a href="library-frag.php">Library</a></li>
    <li><a href="links-frag.htm">Links</a></li>
    <li><a href="mission-frag.htm">Mission</a></li>
    <li><a href="meetings-page.htm">Meetings</a></li>
    <li><a href="membership-frag.htm">Join</a></li>
    <li><a href="sponsors-frag.htm">Sponsors</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div>
    Now I've tried changing the center properties in so many places but no matter where I put "align=center" or "background-position: center" nothing seems to work. This is what it looks like now:

    Any clue?

    Thanks in advance,
    Heather

    Edited to add: I've also changed the settings in the css as well and it's not working there either. I'm thinking somewhere else there's code that precedence over my settings?

    Did you try it on your "<div>" tag? Also, what changes exactly did you do to the navbar? From looking at the source code of that page it looks like there are some misplaced <td> tags in there.

    Did you try adding center to the code like this

    Code:
    <div class="hovermenu">
    <ul><align="center">
    <li><a href="http://www.cmas-md.org">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="contacts-frag.htm">Contacts</a></li>
    <li><a href="forums/">Forum</a></li>
    <li><a href="gallery-frag.php">Tank Tour pics</a></li>
    <li><a href="library-frag.php">Library</a></li>
    <li><a href="links-frag.htm">Links</a></li>
    <li><a href="mission-frag.htm">Mission</a></li>
    <li><a href="meetings-page.htm">Meetings</a></li>
    <li><a href="membership-frag.htm">Join</a></li>
    <li><a href="sponsors-frag.htm">Sponsors</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    Yes I put it in the div tag as <div align=center> and still it didn't work.

    I did just now and still it doesn't center the navbar

    The only thing I added to the navbar template other than the code you saw before is "<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'adv_index'"> " so that I'd get the different navbar on the front page. Other than that, it's just the code that navbar came with without me doing anything to it.
