    Default Navigation problems

    Hi
I noticed this after installing the new version of Link Directory ( 1.0.1 )

Powered by: vBadvanced Links Directory v$version
Also my main navigation seems to be confused

My forum is installed at http://www.mysite.com/forum/ and my Link Directory is under http://www.mysite.com/Links/

But when i acess my Link Directory my navigation also changes, for example http://www.mysite.com/forum/usercp.php changes to http://www.mysite.com/links/usercp.php

    What am I doing wrong?

I don't think you did anything wrong as I too am receiving the same errors as you are. It might have something to do with how links_global.php calls to the forum. These are the issues so far:

navbar links (not pointing to forum path)
    login (same with navbar)
    vbphrasing (for vBa Links version)

Can we please have these issues addressed? Again our issues are:

    1. Powered by: vBadvanced Links Directory v$version (reverting does not apply since this is with default templates + unedited PHP files). Also, I've reuploaded all files + uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

    2. Navbar issue (does not recognize login nor do the links point to the right path in any of the Link pages).

Attachments below show: 1) The correct navbar/login (*Note that the correct one has the user logged in and have the link "Forum Rules") and 2) The incorrect navbar/login.

I'm having the same issues. I'll keep looking around this forum for an answer, but this is the first post I found that addressed my issues.

Have the same problem as well...

I came on here tonight looking for the solution to this problem and it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Will now have to wait and see about this issue getting resolved.

Hi Brian, well I ran this query and the results were (0) rows effected. I'm still having all sorts of problems with users pointing back to the NAV bar.

UsersCp goes back to the Links area and casues an error message, and most of the others are pointing back to the links folder rather then the forum itself.

I have checked and cannot seem to find the solution to this issue now, and have no clue where to start and how to fix this, so I'm leaving this to the experts here now.

Thanks again, and hope there is an easy soloution to this.

    Dennis

Your footer seems to be showing the correct version now... That's strange that it didn't show any rows updated when you ran the query, but I guess that doesn't matter as long as it's displaying the version now.
