    I cant even upload the module. When I try to save the uploading of the module I get.

    Invalid module specified.

    Works perfect on latest vb 3.8.4 and latest vBa. All the issues people are having are mainly using the developers js file which has a bunch of mistakes in it. Use the original js file that people are linking to and it works just perfect.

    If your having problems uploading the module just open the module file and create it yourself from inside your AdminCP -> vBa CMPS

    Clear instructions would need to be developed for how to get multiple times to show which is very possible.

    Hi

    I did all the steps mentioned and my code is
    Code:
    <tr>
      <td class="$bgclass"><div align="center">
    <font size="-2"><script language="JavaScript">
    TargetDate = "2/02/2010 01:15 PM GMT-3";
    CountActive = true;
    CountStepper = -1;
    DisplayFormat = "%%D%% Days, %%H%% Hours, <br>%%M%% Minutes, %%S%% Seconds.";
    FinishMessage = "My Bday";
    </script>
    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.foroalfaromeo.com/foro/clientscript/countdown.js"></script></td></tr>
    But it doesn't work

    What should I do?

    Default How and where. Do I

    1. Upload 'countdown.js' to your /forums/clientscript folder.

    Is this on my server or in my admin control panel?

    New to this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

    use your FTP client to navigate to the clientscipt folder, much like you would have done when uploading VBACMPS, or Vbulletin.

    Then you should be able to upload it.

    Only one problem, I had them install it for me.
    not sure how or what ftp client is.
    Would it be possible to get step by step directions?

    FTP is File transfer Protocol.
    Helps transferring files from your computer to the server and vice versa.

    I use Winscp, it is a drag and drop style FTP client.
    You'll need to log on to your server with that, your host should have providede you with ftp signon details. if not ask them.

    Then it's a matter of navigating the left side (your comp) to the folder containing the file to upload, then navigate the right side to the servers folder, then simply drag the file across.

    The is an FTP client in the site CPanel, you can do a similar thing there. It's been a while since I used it, so I can't give too much advice on that whilst I'm not on my home comp.

    This module has nothing to do with vB, it works off the CMPS.

    CountActive = true;
    CountStepper = -1;
    DisplayFormat = "%%D%% Days, %%H%% Hours, <br>%%M%% Minutes, %%S%% Seconds.";
    FinishMessage = "It is finally here!";

    Reading the whole thread it seems to need a change of JS script.

    See post #80 http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/show...3&postcount=80

    I have another Problem,

    The countdown is showing the Time specified in the JS file instead of the template codes,

    So you have any idea about it ?

    I solved it by removing the module and then adding a Template module manually , and using the codes provided here : http://www.hashemian.com/tools/javascript-countdown.htm

    My Special Thanks to CareyCrew for the great help.
