    Hi NukeOZ

If you are referring to vBcover products you can go to their web site for help cause that is their product the "slide show". The web site is http://www.vbcover.com and it is not a part of vBavanced...but is well integrated with vBadvanced and vBulletin.
    Hope that helps...

I just recently installed this on my site that's only a few weeks old, running vB 3.7 Beta 6 with the latest vBadvanced and it works great! I might add, the customer service is unbelievably great--best I've ever received in the past ten years from anyone supporting modules, plug-ins, hacks, etc. To see a live demo, please visit http://www.shotcritic.com Love this mod, thanks, rg sends!

does one seriously have to pay $50 a year to use the product?

or maybe I am missing something?

    Default 4 Questions:

    QUESTION 1:

Regarding Audio with Every Image Template
Can this template be used WITHOUT the audio?

    QUESTION 2:
These two templates have [READ MORE] following the excerpt:
    http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/atta...6&d=1200902929
    http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/atta...0&d=1200903028

Is it possible to have [READ MORE] added to this template?
    http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/atta...7&d=1200902953

    QUESTION 3 (a & b):

I understand that this product only displays JPG images.

3a) If a thread is posted to a forum that 'feeds' the slideshow and there is NO image, does the slideshow 'skip' that post, or does an 'error' show up in the slideshow?

3b) If a thread is posted to a forum that 'feeds' the slideshow and the post contains an image, but NOT a JPG image, does the slideshow skip that post, or does an error show up?

    QUESTION 4:

I understand that this product displays the most recent posts. If an older thread receives a 'reply' (which would bump it back to the top of the list), does it show up in the slideshow again, or does the slideshow display based on original post date only?

1-Yes it can be used without audio
2-It does. I just did not set the proper cutoff maxchars so it overlaps in demo
    3a,3b- yes yes, will skip
4-Deals only with threads date, not posts. No bumping

Thank you for your fast reply!

I'm especially happy to hear that the slideshow will skip over posts without jpg's or images without showing the dreaded 'red x'!

I think therefore I am confused. Having cleared that up I have a question or two.
    1. It only works with attachments? I've reformatted my forum to allow pics to be linked from the albums or an outside host. I haven't deleted the attachments, yet. Instead I moved them to a hidden forum. There's over 2000 pics in those threads and a lot of time invested. I'd hate to dump them if I could find some way to use them.
    2. It only picks up on the latest post? Is there a way to make it randomly pick pictures out of the threads it looks at? Again going back to the hidden threads. I won't be adding to them but would like to make use of what is in there now.

Is it possible to have the slideshow re-configured to pull 'thumnails' from the first YouTube video in a post?

    Please, please, please!!!

    LOL!

Ok...let's see if this is easier...

Does Slideshow have to be installed at the same domain as the vBulletin it's pulling from?

In other words, can I have the SlideShow appear on MYDOMAIN#1.com, displaying posts from a vBulletin installed at MYDOMAIN#2.com?

Both domains are on the same server...

Flash parameters itself require same domain.
