Thread: Reported Links Spam Mail

  1. #1

    Default Reported Links Spam Mail

I am starting to get reported link spam mail from my links directary. Is there a way to block guests from reporting links?

I am using the nospam hack for my site. This is a great hack and prevents 100% of the spam bots from registering and posting spam! Is there a way to use this feature for reporting links?

Turn on Image Verification in the vbulletin options menu.

I have mine and I get zero bots. No hack needed.

You could also edit your usergroup permissions for guests and turn the "Can Report Links / Posts" setting off.
