Default Login issues - CMPS Homegae

I installed the vbadvanced CMPS system on my forum yesterday.

The installation went well without any problem. But there's one problem which I can't get it to work.

I have the cmps on my homepage. ie: http://www.webicy.com/ & the forums is located at http://forums.webicy.com/

When I try to login from the cmps it brings me back to the same page and again has the username password box. It doesn't show me logged in although I've logged in. When I go to the forum its shows me logged in.

I've gone through the instructions and checked all the settings, .htaccess file but to no luck.. All works well except for the login issue!!

I would appreciate if someone can help me fix this issue.

Try again. If you follow all of the steps there, including clearing your cookies after each change, then one of the configurations there will work.

    Hi Brian,

I went through the process once again but it didn't work out.

Another thing I found out is its not a cookie issue coz when I have the cmps_index file in the forum directory it works well and shows that I'm logged in. But if I have the cmps anywhere other than the forum directory that's when the login problem starts.

I've set the forum path in the cmps file and the page loads fine. Just wanted to ask you, I have vbseo sitemap plugin installed I hope that's not causing a problem?

I have the cmps on my homepage. ie: http://www.webicy.com/ & the forums is located at http://forums.webicy.com/

What do you have set for your 'Cookie Domain' and 'Path to Save Cookies' options?

Brian, I got the problem fixed. I changed the cookie setting to .webicy.com and that fixed the problem.

    Thanks for all your help!
