    Angry Adding JW FLV Media Player to a CMPS Module

    Hi folks, I am looking for some help. I can't seem to get JW FLV Media Player to display anywhere except the top of the page when I add it to a module.

    For ref I will provide resource links:

    Media Player Site
    Working (stand alone) on my site

    The code of modules/video.htm:
    Code:
    	<p>Please bear with me as I fight with the code to try to get this video to display where I want it to. <br />
    <br />
    Thanks,<br /><br />
    Kevin</p><div id="container"><a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">Get the Flash Player</a> to see this player.</div>
    	<script type="text/javascript" src="../video/swfobject.js"></script>

    	<script type="text/javascript">
    		var s1 = new SWFObject("../video/player.swf","ply","492","300","3","#FFFFFF");
    		s1.addParam("allowfullscreen","true");
    		s1.addParam("allowscriptaccess","always");
    		s1.addParam("flashvars","file=../video/aesop_video_sm.flv&image=../video/preview.jpg");
    		s1.write("container");
    	</script>
    The steps I took were to upload video.htm to the /modules directory and then I created a new module in Admin Control Panel > vBa CPMS > Add Module. I selected PHP File Module, named it, selected video.htm as the file to include, and ensured the 'Use Module Wrapper Template' option was selected.

    I then added the module to my front page, center column, and set it's position to 60 to place it at the bottom of the center column (for testing).

    When I load the front page the video is not positioned in the center column, it is at the very top of the page. Please tell me what I am doing wrong! I would like to display this video on the front page of my site in a module.

    Many thanks for any help!

    I found the solution myself and thought it best to share. It boiled down to 'RTFM'.

    Clean File Output
    If your are trying to include a PHP file that was not written specifically for vBulletin or vBadvanced, it may be necessary to "clean" the output of this file. If you add a module and the content prints out as the first thing on the top your page, this is a good indication that it needs to be cleaned.
    After selecting YES the module displayed right where it was supposed to.

    I hope that sharing this experience helps someone else through a similar problem.
