    Default Add "Find My Posts" in the Welcome Block

    Yes...

    I would like to add a link in the welcome block where users can find directly their posts. It's the same as the link in the user profile that says "Find all posts by " under statistics folder..

    Thanks

    Just edit your 'adv_portal_welcomeblock_lean/expanded' template and add a link to "$vboptions[bburl]/search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=finduser&u=$bbuserinfo[userid]"

    Open the template 'adv_portal_welcomeblock_lean" or 'adv_portal_welcomeblock_expanded" (which ever you are using,ie; is the welcome block in the center column(expanded) or side a column (lean).

    Find this code :

    Code:
    <if condition="$mod_options['portal_welcome_newposts']">
    			<a href="$vboptions[bburl]/search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getnew">$vbphrase[new_posts]</a>: $newposts<br />
    		</if>
    after this code paste in this :

    Code:
    <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=finduser&amp;u=$bbuserinfo[userid]">My Posts</a><br />
    You can enter any title you want between the >## < to replace "My Posts"

    Try "$vboptions[bburl]/search.php$session[sessionurl]do=getdaily" then.

    This is what I'm adding to the code...

    <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/search.php$session[sessionurl]do=getdaily">Today's Posts</a>

    Look in your header or navbar template depending on the style you use,the links are there.

    Try this for size :

    Code:
    <li><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getdaily" accesskey="2">$vbphrase[todays_posts]</a></li>
    or:
    Code:
    <a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getdaily" accesskey="2">$vbphrase[todays_posts]</a><br />
