Thread: Moderation Link & Gap on Submit Link Page

    Default Moderation Link & Gap on Submit Link Page

    Feedback for RC1,

    Upgraded, checked image paths, reverted all templates:

    Other then default skins:

    The status and other icons display fine for the default skin, however for the other skins when hovering over the little red x, somehow "links" has been added to the image path for the URL, ergo; http://www.sitename.com/links/images/statusicon/subforum_old-48.png

    Navbar:

    In the adv_links_navbar template I had to replace this;

    <vb:if condition="$show['modoptions']">

    With this code to get the moderation link back again.

    <vb:if condition="$show['modcplink']">

    Submit a Link:

    The body or background for this template does not extend all the way down below the bottom quick links bar as it should, there is a gap. See attachment.

    Anyways, back to testing..

    Any chance I could get you to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here so I can take a look at the navbar issue? That *should* have been resolved in RC1.

    Looks like an extra </div> tag snuck into the 'ADV_LINKS_ADD_START' template. If you'll look in that template and remove the code marked in red below then that should take care of the gap.
    Code:
    		<div class="group">
    			<input class="button" type="submit" value="{vb:rawphrase continue}" tabindex="1" /></div>
    		</div>

    Hey thanks a lot Volion!, after upgrading to vB4 and the last vbadvanced link directory the "Moderation" menu disappeared on my directory too. Thanks to your post i solved this issue:

    Navbar:

    In the adv_links_navbar template I had to replace this;

    <vb:if condition="$show['modoptions']">

    With this code to get the moderation link back again.

    <vb:if condition="$show['modcplink']">
    Thanks again bro

    I also had the no show of the Moderation Link... after making the ['modoptions'] to ['modcplink'] change, Admins and S.Mods can see the link, but not Mods, even though the permissions are the same.

    Is there anywhere else we should be looking for a reference to ['modoptions'] ?

    Thoughts?
    Bryan

    Phew,

    Thought i was going mad trying to test settings for link verification

    Couldn't see the moderation entry in navbar, applied this edit, and Bingo.

    Thanks
