Thread: Broken Subforum image issue

  1. #1

    Default Broken Subforum image issue

    I'm doing an upgrade from vb3 and dynamics 1 to vb4 and dynamics 2 on my development server.

    My subforum images are broken on the cat listing on the dynamics home:

    The work around is change this template:

    scripts_categorybit_subcat

    Find:

    {vb:raw subonoff}

    Replace with hardcode:

    old-48

    Now, I'd like to get it fixed permanently, since it won't show new submissions. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Yes. That's the only one that's giving me trouble.

    I meant to add:

    If you right click on the broken image to see what the URL is it gives you:

    subforum_.png

    They are missing the old-48 or new-48 part on all instances of Dynamics (I'm running 2 currently).

    Which version of vBulletin and vBa Dynamics exactly are you running?

    Ahh, it looks like one of the variables isn't being registered properly for the template. I've just applied the fix to the forum/includes/vba_dyna_functions_cats.php file in the package here, so if you will download the files from here again and update that one on your server, that should take care of the issue.
    Or if you would rather apply the fix manually, just look in the file for this code:
    PHP Code:
                        $templater->register('subcats'$subcats);

    $cats['subcatbits'] .= $templater->render();
    And replace with this:
    PHP Code:
                        $templater->register('subcats'$subcats);

    $templater->register('subonoff'$subonoff);

    $cats['subcatbits'] .= $templater->render();
