Thread: Latest links script for vBulletin 3.6.9

  1. #1

Question Latest links script for vBulletin 3.6.9

We are running vBulletin 3.6.9 and WILL NOT UPDATE due to the licensing problems presented by IB that we all understand all too well.

I need to know the latest version of vBA links directory for this version of vB that we can use, we have not updated for years and are going to move servers, so I need to run the latest script.

    Thank you for your help.

3.6.9 is a VERY long time ago.

As it is you can still get a v3 license extension and download the latest vB3 version, come to that you can buy a license and download vB4 or any of the vB3 versions you wish.

If your vBa Links license is current you can check the versions available/compatibility in the dropdown list in downloads.

Yes, but I need to know the latest version of vBA links that will work with that version, or the version I should download.

What version of vB is this forum running?

It looks close to what we are running.

vBa Links v3.3.0 will work with vB 3.6 - 3.8. I'd also recommend upgrading to the latest vB 3.x version as Carey suggested though since there have been several updates and security patches since vB 3.6.9.

You would just need to backup any tables in your database that start with 'adv_links'.

Anyone know how I can take the vB database and parse the data out to another program on this, we need to figure out how to move the data.
