Default Get Just the URL out of URL Custom Fields

I have a custom field called blog url for people to input the url for the blog section of the website.

Once submitted, it got auto-coverted to a link (Question 1: is there a way to turn this off?)

I am trying to create a button inside of linkbit called "View Blog", the value I get from {vb:raw link.field11} is [ URL]http://something.com/blog[ /URL] which would not work for me, I just need the url text without the tages..

    Thx
    W

    Default

Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Manage Categories => {select category} => Custom Fields => Automatically Parse Links in Text

If you disable that setting in any categories you're using then that will stop the [url] tag from being wrapped around the link.

    I'm just coming in here
You can make custom field to link, but is does this and that makes the link useless
