    Lightbulb

    The problem is now fixed.

    Just upload 'ckeditor' and 'ckeplugins' folder in clientscript to your vbadvanced dynamics/links clientscript folder.

    Code:
    vbdynamics/clientscript

    I've copied the folders 'ckeditor' and 'ckeplugins' into vbdynamics/clientscript and I've reload the page. I'm running vbdynamics 2.0.2

    Okay, I thought I'd found a fix, but it didn't work

    In my vBulletin admin, I went to 'Plugin Manager' and 'Product : vBadvanced Dynamics'. I unticked 'Initialization (part 2)' which got the editor to show up, but then none of the links worked. ~The submit, for example, was going to mydomain/forum/newentry.php instead of mydomain/forum/dynamics/newentry.php

    Wish I knew how to fix this!

    Do you guys have any caching turned on? If so try to flush it.

    OK, I found another way to do this without having to copy the folders over.

    (Replace the text in red with your forum address)
    Look for file http://yourdomain.com/forum/vb/ckeditor.php

    edit line 105 and 106 where it says
    $out = '<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/ckeditor/ckeditor.js?t=A7HG4HT&amp;v=' . vB::$vbulletin->options['simpleversion'] . '"></script>';
    $out .= '<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js?v=' . vB::$vbulletin->options['simpleversion'] . '"></script>';
    replace it with
    $out = '<script type="text/javascript" src="http://yourdomain.com/forum/clientscript/ckeditor/ckeditor.js?t=A7HG4HT&amp;v=' . vB::$vbulletin->options['simpleversion'] . '"></script>';
    $out .= '<script type="text/javascript" src="http://yourdomain.com/forum/clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js?v=' . vB::$vbulletin->options['simpleversion'] . '"></script>';
    I can't seem to find the line that defines the skin so that it shows up also. Currently it's trying to load
    Code:
    http://yourforum.com/forum/dynamics/clientscript/ckeditor/skins/kama/images/sprites.png

    If you don't know you have any caches installed, you probably don't have it.
    (ex. memcached, xcache, etc.)

    Sorry Dai-Kun, this not resolve the issue. I've delete xcache and also try to modify the path of the javascripts , but nothing happen.

    I'm still waiting for a support message : I think , this is an important issue that must be solved very soon.

    I hope to read some news from Brian.

    I think Brian is currently trying to figure out this problem too. Because dynamics is outside the vbulletin directory, the base url isn't appending correctly. I really hate this new editor. Sigh..

    Yes, I really hate it too. I've ask to vbulletin to let the user to choose which editor use for his board ( old WYSIWYG or CKeditor ) but they joke me, telling that CKeditor is the best editor on the net... bah...

    Yes, I have been trying for a few days now actually when I have the time to sit for a couple of hours and play with things. I never imagined it would be this much of a pain. Javascript is not one of my stronger points and I'm not having much luck at all yet. Unfortunaly vB support hasn't been of any help yet either. I have a couple of "plan B" ideas in mind, but I would rather not have to use those and change the <base> tag on certain pages if I can avoid it since that's likely going to create new issues and annoyances. Hopefully some other ideas that came to me last night will work out. If not, then it's time to start on plan B.
