    Default Why is this so difficult to install How do you install vBadvance

    Why is this so difficult to install and why is their a lack of decipherable tutorials?

    How do you install vBadvanced, the tutorials on YouTube are terrible, no audio and the video quality is abysmal. I have been searching for a simple explanation for a while.

    What is the correct path for cmps_index:

    $forumpath = 'http://mywebsite.com/forum.php';

    and the forum folder gets uploaded to the root public_html

    than when I am ready to run the script, I type:

    http://mysite/forum/admincp/vbacmps_install.php[/url]

    thank you all

    There is a very clear and detailed set of instructions included with the download pack.

    FAQ's and a Manual are here on site.

    You should start your own thread in the appropriate troubleshooting thread.

    For anyone to help you proper information is required.

    What version of vBulletin are you running?
    What version of CMPS are you installing?

    The error code may suggest that you have not uploaded the files in the correct mode or that your forum path is incorrectly set.

    I am a complete noobie, I found the instructions bundled very easy to follow, once in the instructions in the install sequence were again easy to follow.

    I had a portal up and running within ten minutes of downloading it !

    10/10 you guys for a great job
