Thread: Overhaul vBadvanced CMS?

  1. #1

    Default Overhaul vBadvanced CMS?

I'd honestly pay for a pro version of the software.

We been using the same layout for years now with some updates to be compatible with vb4, but I think it's time to add a refresh to CMS, something that can compete or even do better than vbulletin default CMS.

I do love your work Brian, but I also do think it's time for some updates for the vbadvanced layout.

I haven't seen any drastic changes in the past few years.
Your thoughts on this matter would be appreciated.

The CMPS is without doubt the most configurable portal product out there. The layout is not static, it's your choice as to how content is displayed.

The vB CMS is a different product, not just a portal and many users would tell you that in it's present state it is a poor product and I have seen a good number of sites turn of the vB CMS and return to vBa CMPS.
Seen vB5 beta? No more vbulletin for me, done , gone, finished .

vbulletin default CMS is for nothing good than for publishing articles. Probably they will need years to get to the level, where vBa CMPS is now.

I don*t understand the layout-question. vBa CMPS takes over the vbulletin layout, and everybody is free to change this however he wants.

... I use both (vBa CMPS as cms and vbulletin CMS for articles), so I know what I am talking about. Never ever I would want to use vbulletin CMS as cms, it would make me crazy.
