Default Can't get help on Forum

    Brian,

I am not sure what's going on, but I am unable to get any help from questions posted to the Dynamics or Links Forum.

I really like these extension to vB, but it seems that vBa is not there to support.

Is there another similar product that has caused this site to go slow.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

I think Brian gave up. vB is a terrible product, most people are leaving for Xenforo or IPB, or even free products. vB won't be around much longer and Brian hasn't committed to developing products for other platforms yet.

I am not knocking vBa at all. Brian developed terrific products and used to provide top notch support. The products are still great, the support is lacking and the writing is on the wall for vB.

    Thanks for the perspective.

Its a pity, because I thought that Dynamics was a great product.

Is there anything else out there that does the same thing ?.

Looking for some kind of Database, that works on vB.

    Thanks

Sorry to sound so gloomy, but I would not recommend vB to anyone. I sed it for almost 10 years and moved to Invision as soon as version 5.x came out. They have some pretty good add on that might work for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took a look at the Invision website and it look impressive. The big question, does it really have all the features I need, and is it really better than vB ?.

Let me know if there are any links or reviews worth reading.
    Thanks

I'm not sure what features you need, only you can decide that.

They are a very responsive company. You can ask all the questions you want in the presales section and a company rep will get back to you.

You can also set up a demo and test it out for 5 days.

As for it being better than vB, my opinion is absolutely.

Thanks - your suggestion has been very helpful. The apps too, look good and possibly do the same thing as vBa.

Sorry I missed your original threads. I try to hop on here and respond to forum support as much as I can, but things have been pretty busy around here lately and I don't always have a lot of free time. I just replied to your links thread, but if I missed any others please let me know.
