Default suddenly no access to one multi-instance

One of our collaborators is no longer able to edit an instance of a multi-instance license install. No other changes other than we turned on the FB integration - he's still set to vb login. vB 4.2.2pl1. I can send you his row from the users table. There is only one secondary user group that determines access to this instance. He is in it and I can still get in. What do you suggest? Thanks!

    Default

Well, there is something funky about the "Facebookers" group that the vB integration creates (maybe). I take him out of the group and bang, he is in. Any thoughts appreciated.
