    Yes, more times than I can count. Just follow the instructions in the vBulletin manual.

    Yup! vB manual is the best way to go. Even if your db is bigger than 5MB you should avoid phpMyAdmin to dump and restore your db.

    I use the command line to dump the DB, FTP the file to the new server, then command line to restore.
