News Archives not appearing?

It looks like I have everything setup right, but for some reason I'm not getting an News Archives on the homepage. My regular news is showing up, but not the archives.

I never changed the Archive settings from the default installation. Is there anything I need to change?

I tried searching, but all that showed up was info about the News module.

Just to be sure, you do have more posts in the forum you're pulling news threads from than the max number of threads to display option, right?
Assuming you do, edit your news archive module and make sure that your news module is selected as the 'Module Parent', 'news.php' is selected as the file to include, and you have a valid number set for the 'Number of Archived News Posts to Display' option further down the page.

I didn't have News set as the Module Parent.

Shouldn't this be setup as default? I know I didn't change that setting.

It is set up that way by default...
