vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.0 (works with vBulletin v3.6) is now available for public download here. For those wishing to upgrade or download for the first time, please follow the links to download the CMPS from the 'Programs / Scripts' link on the homepage here.
For those who are upgrading, simply download the new package, upload all files over your existing ones, point your browser to the cmps_install.php file that was uploaded to your admincp directory, and choose the option to upgrade. Enjoy!

Thanks! Even though I converted 2.1 to work with my forum, it's nice to see an official release

Will the upgrade work before VB3.6 is installed?

When you go to the download page you'll still see both versions, 3.5.x and 3.6.x, so you can still use it with vB 3.5.4 with no problems. When the time comes for you to upgrade to vB 3.6.x then the CMPS upgrade will only take a few minutes to download the new package, upload them to your server, and then run the install script to upgrade. |

Thank you... So there is no point in upgrading till a stable Vb3-6 is released.
Can I install the new version of Vbadvanced into a seperate folder (not in the root) & point it at a test forum? |

Brian might have skipped something in the install script, can you replicate it.

Hmm... I just overwrote all my old CMPS files, changed the forumpath in cmps_index.php, ran the upgrade from the script file and now I'm getting:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: print_portal_output() in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/cmps_index.php on line 44 Any ideas? |
