I don't know if this is possible or advisable with CMPS but I need to show selected information about the forum status in article pages on my site and on the front page.

In articles, like news stories, I'd like to start a thread, let's say in the News board and then show just the thread headings on the article page, so readers can find the thread and join in.

For the front page, I need to show the last five posts from five different boards in the format:

<Board name><Subject>

A board would only be featured once out of the five, so the 5 boards with the five latest updates, would appear.

I was hoping that CMPS would have hooks in it to enable these requirements. Maybe it's easier to do it another way - all suggestions welcome.

I'm expecting to pay for this work.
