Default Time to learn what do you suggest?

Well I have been using VB for 3 years or more now...(can't even remember) I have run large and small sites with it. I can install any hack change just about any code I want to get what I want, but what I can't do is code this from scratch.

Programming comes natural to me so picking it up should not be to hard ( i code c++ vb and rpg400 as it stands) so I plan to do it all by books and trial and error. What im asking for is if any of you php/mysql/javascript gurus out there have some suggestions for which books to pick up. I want to start simple then move into the advanced.( i have an end goal of 2 certain hacks I plan to create the first being somewhat simple the last a full intagration with vb and this portal)

My current list of books on my shop list are:
Build Your Own Database Driven Website Using PHP & MySQL, Second Edition
High Performance MySQL
Advanced PHP Programming
Learn JavaScript
Advanced Javascript
Mastering HTML and XHTML ( as a ref for xhtml)

So fire away at this list.. good bad.. need to add or remove some books....

The main way I learned PHP was just by playing around with vBulletin and picking the code apart. http://devshed.com also has some good tutorials and a rather large forum.
