Latest Threads question

How do I set it so that a certain forum will not appear in the latest threads module??

I have a thread that I do not wish to have up there....

Set the forumids in your 'Excluded forums' option (2nd to last one in your default settings).

slightly different question but alongthe same lines.

Am i able to exclude closed threads from showing in the latest forum topics.

so if someone did something they shouldn't i can close the thread and it doesnt show up to draw attention to it?

If you look in your forum/modules/latesttopics.php file for this code:

PHP Code:

WHERE open <> '10' 


And replace it with this:

PHP Code:

WHERE open = 1 


Then that should do the trick.

Along the same lines, how do I make more than 5 latest posts show? I have the
Latest Threads Maximum-The maximum number of latest threads to display on the page set to 15, tried it with 20 and then with 10, still only shows 5. TIA!

Sounds like you've customized that setting on the page. Edit the page that you are trying to get the threads to display on and either change the option there or check the "Use Default" checkbox and then save your options.

Yes, that's what I did, it worked. It was on the Edit Pages-Default Homepage.
