Question Ebay RSS Feeds on my Portal

Hi Guys,

I have RSS Feeds set up for my website which give feeds for relevant things my members might like to buy: See here http://www.beaututes.com/ute-gear-sale-ebay/

The problem is some members don't like it when the feeds come up as latest topics on my vb advanced page

Is there any way I can create a template to go on the left or right of my portal so that the latest feeds go there instead of the latest threads section?

I have currently set up a "Todays Featured Ute Auction!" but I have to hand code it into the template every day and it is a pain in the butt.

Thanks in Advance

Billy

Just copy the news module to a new module, exclude the eBay forum from your existing module, and then specify only the eBay forum in the new module. You can then place the new module where you would like it and also turn on/off options for the new module (eg: Likely no point in showing the user's subscription status or thread rating or other items in the Ebay feeds forum module).

Can i suggest:
1. Have you added an ebay affiliate link to the rss feed - so you earn commissions from ebay if a sale is made (a mod is needed to database to accomodate the length of the URL)
2. Have a mod delete the completed auctions
3. Consider installing the hack from vB.org that added a new auction as a new post in a thread rather than starts a new thread.

I have done all 3 .... much happier with it.
