Default Navigation link redirect

I want to add a link in my nav menu to another URL but I want to place it somewhere near the top not at the bottom of the navigation module which is all I can when adding the link to the nav module itself.
There doesn't seem to be a way to make a page specifically designed as a redirect, is this possible?

I hope that's clear but if not maybe this will help, here's my navigation currently.

Home
|_Page 1 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page1
|_Page 2 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page2
|_Page 3 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page3
|_Page 4 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page4
Another header
|_Page 5 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page5
|_Page 6 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page6
|_Page 7 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page7
#Custom links added to the navigation module
Page 8 -> http://www.anotherwebsitealltogether.com

What I want to do is put Page 8 under page 1, in that same level, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do this since pages added by modifying the navigation module always appear at the bottom of the module regardless of what's set in the order/level
I can make the item appear to belong to "Another header" but that's not quite what I'm going for.

I want this

Home
|_Page 1 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page1
|_Page 8 -> http://www.anotherwebsitealltogether.com
|_Page 2 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page2
|_Page 3 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page3
|_Page 4 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page4
Another header
|_Page 5 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page5
|_Page 6 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page6
|_Page 7 -> http://www.oursite.com/index.php?pageid=page7

Take a look at this thread ; http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34844

If you use the "Exclude from navigation" option for the main CMPS pages you can then place your links in any order you want.

So you're saying I should exclude everything and build the menu from the ground up. I supposed that could work. Thanks
