Everything was fine until I tried to upgrade to the next version, then I uninstalled and installed, then re-installed like 10 times but I kept getting the same error..

The 'adv_pages_user' table was accidentally left out of the uninstall part, so that's what's creating the error. You can correct that by either downloading the files from here again and updating the admincp/vbacmps_install.php file on your server, or you can drop that table manually using phpMyAdmin and then re-install.

The query to remove the table is definitely in the install file now. If it's not working the only thing I can suggest would be to delete the current admincp/vbacmps_install.php file from your server and then re-upload the new version you just downloaded.

I am having the same trouble trying to upgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.2.2. I've uploaded everything, but the admincp still shows version as being 3.0.1. When I try to upgrade, it gives me that same error. I will try dropping that table to see if that works.
