Default Interested in Dynamics - can it look....

Ok.. so, I've been reading through posts and looking at examples and, while I am almost certain Dynamics (or even CMPS, maybe?) can do what I'm looking for, I have a few questions.

First, the background - I have been running a film and entertainment website for the last 5 or so years. It is the online version of what I do in print for the local area I live in. Obviously, print is going the way of the Do-Do bird so I want to be able to switch completely to an online magazine. Currently, I'm running on WordPress and, well, I'm not pleased with it at all. I use vB 3.x for my forums. I am looking for something more in line with a CMS or the like. I was running a completely customized site until the programmer and I had a falling out. Anyway... Here are two sites that have the functions and features I am looking for:

Example 1
Example 2

I NEED to be able to use images that are formatted to the size of DVD covers and movie posters (one-sheets). I don't have time to reformat images to fit a specific formatted size. I saw another post by someone asking for similar features (to post film reviews, etc) and would like those as well. I need to have the front page separated into sections; for Interviews, DVD reviews and New Release reviews. I will also need another section for Features (with a Flash module that "scrolls" features, like in ex's 1 and 2). Plus, the obligatory box for YouTube (and other) videos, Google AdSense and other banners (various sizes), etc etc.

Finally, this would be needed for vB 4. Is Dynamics (and/or CMPS) compatible with vB 4?

Again, I'm really interested in the vBAdvanced products and hope they can be used for my needs.

Thanks!

You won't get quite the same look and feel of the example sites you posted without some customization, but it sounds like most of the features you've asked about should be possible. All vBa products are available for vB3 and vB4.

vBa Dynamics has options so you can set the max width/height for image uploads and the thumbnails that are generated, so that part shouldn't be an issue. There is also a setting to display the first attachment thumbnail when browsing entries, plus you can use the [attach] tag to display any attachments within the entry itself (just like when posting a thread in vB).
You could separate things into different sections by adding different categories for each if you wanted to keep everything on the same page, or there's also the multiple instance license option ($24.99 extra) that would allow you to install multiple instances of the software that work completely independently from each other and would keep each section completely separate.

There's not any type of flash module like you're describing that I'm aware of, but if you're familiar with flash, HTML, and PHP then I'm sure something like that could be created.
