The users see correct that images on the other posts because the button "Edit Post" ("Modifica Messaggio" in Italian) is not present.

Thank you for pointing this out. You should be able to correct this by looking in your 'adv_portal_newsbits' template for this code:
Code:
<div class="postfoot">
And replacing it with this:
Code:
<div class="postfoot" style="white-space: nowrap">

I tried to override the attribute "width" for ".vba_news" in adv_portal.css
PHP Code:
.vba_news {

margin-top4px;

width99%; /* <<-- added by me*/

So, my postfoot aligned down (bottom) but with some extra spaces (watch attachment)

Have you modified your 'adv_portal_news' template at all? If so, try reverting it and see if that solves the problem. If not, can you post a link to the site where you're having this issue?

I haven't the site yet. I'm still learning on the local site. But when I searched the solving of my problem I have found the same issue here "News Overlapping in vB 4.0.2". The same problem I see here http://www.mikesimonds.com/ (watch "News module" at the bottom).

Btw, the problem appears in Opera. In IE9 postfoot aligned bottom properly.

May be it happened because I upgraded the forum from v3.6.8 to 4.1.8 and upgrade vBa from v3.0 RC2 to v4.1.2?
