Shoutbox Suggestions?

I would like to add a shoutbox in the right sidebar of my homepage. I've searched around and found a few things that sounded like they would work but have had little success actually implementing any of them.

Ideally, I would like it to be integrated so the members name shows up when they type something. And I would like it to not be a huge drag on the sites resources.

Is anyone currently using one? Have one they like?
