forum links displayed wrong on dynamics

Hey Brian!

Basically blog links work fine BUT not the links generated by the postbit below the blog.

So for instance clicking view profile takes me to
http://mysite.com/member.php?u=4415

Which is correct but if i click view profile under the comments it comes out like
http://mysite.com/blogs/member.php?u=2

with the extra BLOG folder which messes up the linking.

How do i fix that? i've looked everywhere in the settings and dynamic config files and have no clue.

Those links should automatically be updated to point to the folder where you have vB installed... Do you have the same problem using a default vB style?

is there a way to manually refresh/rebuild it?
only noticed had this problem when i moved hosts

If you go to Admin CP => Styles & Templates => Style Manager => Add New Style then that will allow you to create a new style using the default vB templates.

i cant rebuild my style all over again it will take forever.

just need to refresh it someway so it updates with all the right links.. theres nothing i can edit in any config file?

You don't need to rebuild your style again. If it works with the default vB style though then that means the problem is due to something within your custom style and you may need to redo your 'postbit' template.

okay got what you meant.

I created a new style and accessed it by adding at ?styleid=6 at the end.

It produced the exact same result!

i.e on this dynamics page /blogs/showentry.php?e=538 when i click on view profile of a members comment it takes me to

/blogs/member.php?u=2464

instead of

/member.php?u=2464

Weird... I'm not entirely sure what else could be causing that, but if you would like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.
