Default Slightly complicated - Latest Threads as RSS Summary: customizing?

OK, I hope this makes sense.

Having added a half dozen RSS feeds to the native vBulletin 3.8 RSS Feed Manager, and setting each to output in a forum of its own, I then used a vBAdvanced page to display them all by using the Latest Threads module.

Here is what it looks like so far.

So, this combination basically works OK; but it has its issues.

1. I edited the latest threads module template to make the thread preview appear without hovering. That was easy. What isn't easy, though, is figuring how to make that thread preview NOT show the URL of images in the post, that being ugly as hell. For example, I have a thread preview there which says:

Code:
Shadowrun Returns: http://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/projects/109618/photo-full.jpgJordan Weisman, the creator of Shadowrun, is back and Shadowrun Returns:)(for Apple & Android tablets and PCs) is the game that Shadowrun fans have been waiting for a long time. A graphically rich 2D turn-based single...
Not a good look, I'm sure you'll agree. That image URL somehow needs to be stripped from the thread preview in the latest threads module template.

2. There doesn't seem much point people clicking the title to find a 2-line RSS post and a "read more" link, so I was wondering if there's any way to force the thread title to link to the actual article rather than the thread. It's encoded in the RSS Feed manager as: {feed:title}, but those don't work when placed in the latest threads module template.

That probably made no sense at all!

I guess that's a negative, Ghostrider. The pattern is full.

You'd have to strip them out of the preview text somehow which would require some modifications.

Yes; that was the question.
