Default How to make cmps_index.php load outside forum root

This is my setup:

www.domain.com/forum/forum.php

I have upload all vBadvanced CMPS files to:

www.domain.com/forum

cmps_index.php is located in:

www.domain.com/cmps_index.php

$forumpath = ''; is set in cmps_index.php to forum

when calling www.domain.com/cmps_index.php vba loads fine but i want to vba to load when entering www.domain.com.

i have tested to rename cmps_index.php to index.php but it will just redirect me to www.domain.com/forum

Question is is it possible to have vba installed in domain.com/forum and vba index file in domain.com ???

Make sure you don't have any other index.* files in your root.
Also check your .htaccess file and make sure it does not contain a redirect
