Help - guests can't see News images

I'm happy with vBa CMPS, except for one small issue: guests can't see News images BUT if the guest views the thread itself he can see them.

You can see my issue by viewing the attached image or visit the site at http://www.casualadultgamers.com/V5/

I am using vBadvanced CMPS v4.2.0 and vBulletin Version 4.1.12

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

This is a VB setting. You have to allow guests to view thumbnails/images

Since the only place they can't see thumbnails in vBa CMPS, it would seem to be a CMPS issue? You may have missed that part of my post where I said that when guests view the thread directly they see thumbnails fine.

So, unless you have a specific vB setting you think causes this that I can check, I still need someone's help resolving it this CMPS issue

it is in the attachment permissions. I do not recall the exact setting off the top of my head though.

Trust me it is in there, I had to set this up on one of my forums, even thugh guests can view the images in the forum, they can't in CMPS, it is a VB setting, not a CMPS one.

I see the attachments as a guest, so I'm assuming you were able to figure out the issue?

Thank you for chiming in. I did have the settings for the Unregistered group to see thumbnails, attachments, and even download attachments but only they were not able to view them across multiple browsers, even after rebuilding the thumbnails.

In my frustration I turned off thumbnails, which resulted in a total mess breaking some of my styles. But when I turned them back on the guests could then see the thumbnails... which has me totally confused but yes it is now working.

Wow, that would be frustrating. Glad it is working now though. I wonder if something just got a little screwy with that setting in the DB and when you changed it, and then changed back it fixed the DB entry
