how to change colors ?

hi i`ve just installed a black theme but on the html code module im using the back ground is still white how can i get it so when the black theme is selected its black and when the default theme is selected its white i`ve put a screen shot of both themes

looks like you are specifying the white color in your custom HTML code.

I am liking the white theme better. Actually, I started off with black, and I am looking to switch over to white/blue
