Not a Correct Url ?

I wann add some links to my Linkdirectory and get on some sites this error :

this is not a correct url please add a correct url.

And here they are:

http://www.twitter.com

All incorrect ? Why ?

I have curl installed on my server and its active.
Under settings from VBALinks it is active

Any ideas ?
