Default add forum to index page

Hi

im still deciding wether to install vbadvanced.

the only reason i want to use it is,
to add 2 dynamic blocks above the forum..

so i want the vbulletin forum to still be the index page, but i also want two dynamic blocks between the nav bar, and the forum

is this possible with vbadvanced?
