In the older vb 3.0x series, we had a vbadvanced module that would input an html page; ie, the module on the cmps_index page would show an html page from another directory or server.
Anyone have any idea how to do this with the new vbadvanced? I have that old module code somewhere... Thanks! |

It's in the same place as it was for the vB 3.0 version. You should still have the page you added, but if you don't just go to Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Add Page => HTML Page

Brian, I was trying to create a module, and not a page. It's here, and it works:
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1466 Not sure what this "add page html page" does, as your team really made this program so much more inclusive, but I'll have to play with it. Thanks Brian! |

The HTML page basically lets you include a HTML file that is currently on your server, and displays the content of that file in place of your 'Custom Page Content' module. The reason this is there is mostly for people who have HTML pages on their server and want to include some CMPS modules around the content of those pages. Instead of having to re-create the pages as vBulletin templates, you can now just include the file into your CMPS page.

I am trying to include an html page and nothing is showing up. I have the custom content module set to center and the module is turned on.
I am not sure what to do next. Thank you, Ella |
