Keeping modules folder secure
Hi all,
modules has to be chmod 777 for the install. Does it have to stay on those permissions? When is it used again after the initial install? I am paranoid about leaving permissions open like this and would appreciate advice on how to lock this down while still being usable. (If that means I have to chmod before doing certain functions, then lock down again, I'm ok with that).

The only time that folder needs to be writable is when uploading files through the 'Upload / Download Module' admin cp link. So it's fine to change the permissions, and only chmod it to 777 when uploading modules.
