Does anyone know if this membership option is a feature of vbadvanced or a related plugin? And if so, can you direct me to this plugin?

It's being used on multiple sites, so I have to assume it's something that people have downloaded and installed themselves. Either that or all of those sites used the same person to modify their websites.
