Default Moved to new host, serious problem

Okay, its going to be a tad long story to explain of what happened.

The original hosting site we had crashed and lost all of the database and files. I only had a forum backup at that time so most of the forum stuff has been recovered.

Moved to the new server and did a backup.

The biggest issue on my hand is that the CMPS is half working and half not working. The modules are working just fine and I see everything with no problem.

Here's one catch. The main url gets redirected to the forums. Any custom page made from cmps, like index.php?page=pagename are also redirected to forums.

I'm aware that the main cmps_index (renamed to index after the completed install before the crash) is gone so I have to add a new index. Didn't solve my problem. I can't even tell if the chdir is correct or not if I keep getting re-directed to the forums.

I uninstalled the cmps and reinstalled it, didn't solve the problem. In fact it made all of the custom pages and modules gone as well lol. Losing some of the custom pages and modules can be recovered so it is not a problem, but the redirecting issue is making me desparate. Any ideas of what is causing it or how to fix it?

So... Remove whatever it is that you have there that's redirecting people to the forums.

I couldn't figure out where the re-direct was coming from. I'm just an admin, the other guy is a webmaster and he has access to the whole works. I had to get into his cpanel to find whats causing the re-direct.

All of the problems are now fixed. Its kinda weird how the re-direct breaks the homepage and the custom pages. I couldn't get it to work.
