Did you set the options for the CMPS in your Admin CP? If not, try saving the options. If that doesn't help, make sure that the modules are enabled for your 'Default / Homepage' page.

Simple things to check for are Updating you counters and search indexes.

At 1st setup make sure everything is turned on and has a check box in it. (We can customize later.)

Make sure you hhave the absolute sever path to the forums in the cmps_index.php
// ============================================
// Enter the full path to your forum here
// Example: /home/vbadvanced/public_html/forum
// ============================================

chdir('./forums');

Is how it is shipped to you. 10% of the server configs out may not except this so it is up to you to find the path and insert it.

Next up, leave a url to your site so we can see what you are seeing.

Thanks
