Default Can I add links by direct editing the database table?

Hello,

Can I add links to Link Directory by editing the database table?

I have a text table with numerous links and I can write a script to converter it to any other text format. The question is if it is possible to modify the link database directly, without using GUI.

Thank you,

Mark

Yes, you should be able to enter those links through the database without a problem. Just be sure to use the maintenance tools to update your directory counters afterwards.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for your reply. Does vBadvanced use MySQL database or anther kind of local database?

Thank you,

Mark

MySQL. Unless you add some custom fields, all information for the links will be stored in a table called 'links'.
