Default cmps_index.php forum path problem

Just finished installing vBadvanced and I think its going to work out great as it installed without a hitch and looks exactly how I imagined.

However, I've still got one major issue.

I know that the full path to my forum is...

Code:
chdir('/home/ncaautopia/cgi-bin/forums');
No problems there, I install that to my root folder and everything works great.

But my actual homepage is installed on a seperate server from my forum so what I actually need is for this file to look to my other server instead of internally.

I hate to bug you guys with this, but my host hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Basically this is where my forum is... http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/~ncaautopia/forums/

Any idea what I can put in the chdir path to make the cmps_index.php file find my forum?

Thanks in advance and I apologize if I didn't explain that correctly.

There may be some way to do this, but I've never really looked into it and couldn't tell you how. You may be able to find some help at vbulletin.org if you ask there how to include a file from one server onto another server.

Thanks Brian, I'll give that a shot. If nothing else I can probably just use a redirect

I couldn't tell you why, but that is how my host has that server set up. I can't upload anything outside of the cgi-bin or it is not accessible.

lol I know it. Believe me if I thought I could afford the bandwidth for the traffic my site generates, I would.

As it is though, GameSpy/IGN actually hosts me for free because my content relates to video gaming so I can't be too picky until my site starts generating some revenue.

if you got a problem in the cmps_index.php on line 19 than just remove that line and the error will by gone.
