Exclamation Random images from vbaGallery on vBadvanced CMPS without a module

I'm trying to get a random image to show up on my vBadvanced CMPS page without being in a module. Has anyone done this?

Or is it possible to have a module outside the right, middle and left column?

My site http://dev.zgeek.com

Just curious... why avoid the module?

If you don't want it in the columns you could always add it to the vba_cmps_include_bottom.php file and then just add whatever variable you use for the images to the adv_portal template.

I'm trying to keep the look of my site which has a layout different from the standard one, two or three columns.

I'm trying that method if adding the modules content to the vba_cmps_include_bottom.php and changing the fetch_template to the advanced portal. It does work to a degree, but my tables are completely thrown as everything is loaded in the left column.

Does anyone know how to modify the code so it doesn't mess with the tables? Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm not much of a coder.

This is what Im working with in the vba_cmps_include_bottom.php.

Thanks for your help.

Please do NOT post entire files like that.

Remove this code from the bottom:
PHP Code:
eval('$home[$mods[\'modid\']][\'content\'] = "' fetch_template('adv_portal') . '";');
Then add 'randomimagebits' to your 'Portal Output Global Variables' option under your main CMPS settings, and then add $randomimagebits to your 'adv_portal' template.
