Default Possible bug? [quote] code in the most recent news article

I think I found a bug.

I the top news article (the most recently submitted post that shows up on the top of all the news) cointans quoteBLAH/quote in it, the whole center block would get all messed up.

Here are the screenshots:

The first one is without a quote in the first news article and the second one is.

Is this a common problem or is it me?

Thanks!

Alex

It looks like everything after the quote code is ended with [b]/quote/b], everything after that disappears.

Maybe an open tag somewhere?

what do you have "News Maximum Characters" set to? If you set it to 0 what happens? Looks like it's caused by the code that limits the amount of characters. (I have been able to reproduce this)

Unfortunatly that is a limitation of the CMPS and homepage at this time. If you have a quote in your news posts, you have to make sure that your 'News Maximum Characters' is set to a high enough number to include the ending [/quote] tag.
